I have dedicated my life to teaching self-defense and empowering women and young girls with the skills they need to protect themselves. With over 30 years of experience in martial arts and law enforcement, I have trained individuals across the country, including members of the FBI in Quantico, the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy, and multiple law enforcement agencies in Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, and Alabama.
Holding a 3rd-degree black belt under the United Bujutsu Federation, I have spent years refining my techniques to ensure they are simple, effective, and applicable in real-life situations. My experience extends beyond martial arts, as I am also a Certified Protection Professional, Certified Homeland Security Level 5 specialist, Certified Master Anti-Terrorist Specialist, and a Junnsa Police Tactical Instructor.
Throughout my career, I have seen firsthand the dangers women face and the devastating impact of violent crime. I have personally witnessed the challenges victims endure—not only during an attack but also within the justice system afterward. That experience drove me to shift my focus from traditional martial arts to teaching practical self-defense strategies that are designed for real-world application. Unlike many instructors who train solely within their dojos, I have traveled extensively, working with law enforcement personnel, women’s groups, and professionals in high-risk environments.
Now, through Duhon Family Enterprises, LLC, I am committed to providing hands-on training and online resources to help women and young girls build confidence, develop situational awareness, and take control of their personal safety.
